ANGELS Update -- Yeaahhhhh....

Just dipping in really quickly! I haven't abandoned the story! It's just been a stressful few weeks. Work is really busy and I've had sick pets, one of my older ones who still isn't doing very well and I've been working on turning one of my sort of hobbies into a side hustle, because, vet bills are no joke! Meanwhile, my gorgeous boys are very much not happy with me.

I hope you guys that may still be checking in are all doing well, and if I can just get through this month, hopefully things will settle down. One can dream!

Ditto the pets - awaiting major surgery in Feb for one of our boys (dogs). But glad you are still out there and know your fans are awaiting your next chapter!

Oh, I hope all goes well with your pup! It's so stressful and expensive! I have to say I'm still a little stunned anyone is actually reading this long, winding story of mine, but it's definitely wonderful to know there's someone enjoying it! I think Angels will have to wrap up soon, as I'm starting to get heavy Johnathan vibes going for the next part. ;D

Speaking of stories: I found a lot of stuff from a long gone HMR fansite and Yahoogroup on a USB stick. I'll check it all through and then zip them up. Also, you might wanna check my journal here. ;)

Just wanted to pop in and say since I haven't seen you about lately I hope everything is okay with you and your pups, hope all are doing well!

I have kitty cats. I've had pets my whole life of one kind or another, mostly dogs and cats. It's a little bit of a long story but I 'inherited' a number of kitties from the house down the street where there were 3 to 4 mama cats all pregnant all at the same time. Thankfully all those have since been spayed and neutered, but since then there's been a steady steam of strays and ferals, and I've basically become the crazy cat lady on my street!

There's nothing crazy with that. :) I love cats, but can't have any (apartment rules). I sometimes do cat sitting for friends, and my aunt who lives around the corner just got a puppy.

Animals are such a joy, and also drive me crazy! LOL I'm working on Angels today, finally caught an afternoon where I was determined to just stay home and chill! So a new posting is on the way in the near future, :D

so sorry i lost track of replies here! Surgery went well for Jack - he’s a pit/dogo mix from the streets of Texas, had his knee retired. We also have Ralphie, another street pittie, and believe it or not, two rescued donkeys named Burro-ito and Donkey Hotay.

Hey! I'm just signing into here for the first time in a while and found your comment! So glad to hear that the surgery went well! Great news! The first time I read your comment I thought you were saying your donkey's name was Doc Holliday, LOL, but I love those names. I caretake about 20 cats on my street. I have some there were mine to begin with, have some rescues or feral...and those that I 'inherited' from a neighbor, which basically means those were rescues too, and...god...it's a long story. Anyway, so glad to hear from you! I will be posting a brief update on what's going on with me, and also a status update on our lovely boys, Matt & Jody!
