Sean sat his glass on the tabletop, leaned back in his chair, regarded John with a thin smile.
“Now you’re talking out of your arse.”
John smiled warmly. “Sean, I assure you, I’m being entirely sincere.”
Sean’s smile warmed as well before he glanced aside, unwilling to let the other man see how pleased he was, or how foolish he felt.
“Might you accompany me for a walk? It’s a beautiful night.”
Sean’s chin lifted and without hesitation, “Yes.”
