A tiny bit of A/B, because it's been far too long. :)

The reaching out, the risking of his fragile hope, nearly undid him, yet, his heart would allow nothing less. Aragorn had asked, and now he must wait, and he dared not push or attempt to persuade. This man was worth much more than that, and Aragorn must win him with only the truth he put in his eyes.

At last, the answer, spoken roughly. “Yes.”

Aragorn breathed, took Boromir’s hand in his, and rejoiced. He had won Boromir’s body for this night, yet Aragorn ached for more. Somehow, he would do it. His heart would allow nothing less.

Nothing less.

Thank you! I really wanted to show Aragorn as, not only *wanting* Boromir, but really valuing and caring for him and wanting to have Boromir come to *him* with his own honest passion. Gosh, I've missed these two, ;)

Oh, beautiful! So evocative of the desire and hesitation on both their parts. I especially love your expression of Boromir's answer.

Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed, both their hesistation and desire, I think Boromir will have a difficult time trusting, but I'm sure Aragorn will earn it in the end, ;)

Aragorn must win him with only the truth he put in his eyes.

Oh you write again. I'm happy!!! Wonderful drablle. I forgot (almost) about Arwen. I don't know how you do it, but when you write about that pair I believe in them. Thank you.
By the way, there is always back on my mind Arwen or Eowyn, characters which I like very much, so when Aragorn or Faramir are with Boromir as lovers I fill sometimes uneasy. That why I love the most when Boromir is pairing with Elladan.

Gorgeous... Aragorn, as usual, the strategist and hunter, knowing he must approach with caution, but seeking more than a single night. And Boromir, skittish and unsure... beautiful!

Eee! I think I like your description as much as I like the drabble! I have missed these two, they are what brought me to LJ and the fandom, period. I love their dynamic, and all the ways in which they're alike, yet so different. They way I see them, there's this inevitable heat and passion just waiting to get out, but underneath that there’s a true depth of feeling that goes so much deeper . . . thanks so much for your thoughts, and for reading! Glad you enjoyed this, ;)

I backtracked to this piece from the later one and was immediately caught up in the mood - 100 words really isn't very many to work with, but you present us with layers of emotion, character, a backstory and future prompt...wow...thanks for posting this.

Thank you! I'm happy to hear that even in such a short piece, I was able to convey personality and the workings of a larger story. I'm so glad you enjoyed, thanks for reading! ;)
