Ah, okay. I actually can't remember if I watched the whole series Firefly, though I know I saw the movie. Somehow I never got into that fandom. Voyager, however, was my show for a while. I was a big Paris/Torres shipper, and that was some of the first fic I posted online, way back when they were mailing lists! Eventually I discovered 'slash', and was lost for all time to m/m pairings. lol. Toward the end of Voyager it just lost me, I guess, and I didn't even watch the last few seasons. :( Honestly I could change Matt's last name and call this sci-fi fantasy fic an original work, I suppose. Now that Angels is winding down, I may take a little pause and see what I can come up with. I don't even have a title, which oddly is usually what comes first for me. But I definitely can 'see' the whole scene of Jody and Matt's first meeting onboard Jody's ship, and boy that's really calling to me! It's funny how inspiration works. For whatever reason all I want to write about is my beautiful HMR boys, :D
