archetJust a little note, since my posting schedule lately has been a bit delayed, for the inquiring minds that wish to know...
Saigon Kick said it best, Love Is On the Way, and Chapter 6 is no exception. Just a little pre-game ramble since I haven't done one these in a while. What can I say, I ramble, I post, sometimes I delete them. Whoop!
The chapter is 100% written, I'm just editing it a bit, and honestly, I could spend weeks working with it and still not be finished, so the plan is to put it up this weekend. I've never been what I'd call proficient sex-scene writer, but boy, did this one go on...and on...and on, so yeah, for someone who typically does not write long fics (prior to my current obsession anyways, heh!) this may be my longest chapter ever? And it's not just one, long, panting sex scene, you know...there's flirting, and kissing and...you know what, never mind.
Typically I like to keep the chapters comparable in length, somewhat. Much of the time it just depends on what the characters want to say, and sometimes a chapter is just a bridge to the next, to get to the next perspective, as these come out of my brain from each boy's certain perspective, and boy, was Jody adamant that this chapter be from HIS perspective! When I first began thinking of this fic, I envisioned a fun, romantic, loving, some may say...err..over the top, love story with dashes of action. As it's evolving in my head, I do see some BAMF Ranger stuff, maaaaaybe some more bad guys, and of course, Jody-the bear of a boyfriend that don't make no never mind about handling anyone that might want to bring smoke at his boy. But all in good fun, of course.
Today I rediscovered my original beginning to Angels. I wrote a few paragraphs but didn't like it and ditched it, is anyone interested in these types of things?
I myself like those types of little tidbits, but that could just be me. I may post it one day, just for my own amusement, after Angels is all done. If anyone has read Nora Sakavic's novel trilogy All for the Game online you can find fun little details of things she thought about doing, or changes, etc, etc, I thought that was pretty cool.
Anywho! Not much else to report, as always, I do this for the fun of it, though feedback can be a great motivator, so share your thoughts in the comments, here, there, everywhere. Watch this space for fic!
