I'm going to try and not be a complete slacker today and try out these lj cut-tags by posting one of my old AraBoro drabbles. Or to be exact, a Boromir-flavored Aragorn-angst drabble. :)
Title: Silent Rooms
Author: Archet
Paring: Aragorn/Boromir
Summary: After the defeat of Sauron, Aragorn visits Boromir’s rooms.
Feedback: Welcomed
Disclaimer: I claim no ownership in any way of any of JRR Tolkien or New Line Cinema/Peter Jackson’s works or characters.
*~*~*
Your rooms stand dark, silent. Servants come to wipe the dust away but take care, disturbing little. Your father issued this command; I uphold it. I want to believe everything remains just as you left it.
I chance upon Faramir here often. He misses you deeply, terribly. Our ritual this, visiting here, remembering you.
I run my fingers over forgotten belongings left behind. I wonder what they meant to you. What secrets might they tell me?
Here, I too grieve... and dream.
Your rooms stand silent, undisturbed, my Boromir. They will always be, for as long as I am king.
End

Anyway:
I had the pleasure to read this ficlet of yours long before it was posted anywhere. I liked it a lot, and I'm still saying that it's very good. Do us the favour and write more, would you? :)
