The dawn lingered out of sight, secreted behind distant mountains, nearly ready to rise over soaring spires of ice and rock and spill its brilliance and warmth.

In the forest Legolas waited to witness the dawn, the moment where it would crown the trees with gold. It was then that he noticed them, the men, as they rose from the ground, fresh from sleep.

It happened quickly, but Legolas was watching, and so saw Aragorn lift Boromir’s hand and gently kiss his palm before walking away to rouse the hobbits.

Legolas saw the dawn then, reflected in Boromir’s brilliant smile.

Legolas was watching? That naughty Elf!
But this was very sweet, once again.

Oh, Legolas isn't naughty, he was just in the right place at the right time. ;)

But this was very sweet, once again.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked, esp. it being A/B. *g*

hope you're feeling better! *sending Boromir over with some honey cakes*

Oooh... lovely drabble. And the images of mountain and light conjured up in so few words are incredible! Thanks so much for this.

Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed. :) It was difficult to get the descriptions pared enough to leave room for Legolas to do his thing. Glad you liked! ;)

Lovely!
We'd all like to see that, can't really blame that elf. :)

I can't blame him either, ;) Thanks for reading!

Oh this is incredibly beautiful.

Legolas saw the dawn then, reflected in Boromir’s brilliant smile sums up the feeling of this so perfectly.

The Mirkwood Elves are a naughty lot! But your Legolas seems not to be one of the jealous kind, or so I feel at least. I loved the Elvishness and the keen observations of the keen-sighted Prince. *re-discovers her love and respect for well-treated Legolas*

Thank you! I'm glad you liked Legolas here. I agree that he really does get mistreated often. Thanks for reading, ;)

*happy sigh* Reading your drabbles always feel like reading poetry. :D Love it so much! The gentleness in Aragorn's gesture, the dawn reflected in Boromir's smile... *melts* And all seen through Legolas's eyes. It really dawned on him, right then. Hee! Sorry, I couldn't resist... *hides* ;)

This is wonderful. You don't dwell inside their heads, yet what they're thinking, what they're feeling--all three of them--comes through so beautifully. I adore it! :D

*hugs you tight*

LOL! Yes, it really did didn't it? *g*

You say the nicest things, ;) It makes me really happy that you saw clearly what all three were feeling. I started out aiming for A/B angst, but I ended up with happy!A/B. :D Thanks for reading!

*hugs*

Thank you! I wasn't even trying for A/B fluff, but I'm glad they ended up this way. ;) Thanks for reading,

*hugs*
