Viggo/Sean

Disclaimer: not true, entirely fiction.
His dad holding him, running across the hospital car park, his mum yelling. A rush of people, cold bed, brusque impersonal hands. Pain. Blood.
Voices, too many, a curtain pulled aside shutting away his parents. A tall man stepping forward, a syringe tipped with a long sliver needle.
He wants his mum.
“Sean.”
“Sean!”
Sean jerks awake half rising from the bed, Viggo’s hand tight on his arm, voice warm and soothing in his ear.
“You were dreaming. It’s gone now.”
Viggo pulls Sean back down against his chest, rubs Sean’s back. “You okay?”
Sean, already drifting, mumbles, “Am now.”
