Title: Last Stand
Viggo/Sean ~AU

Summary: the last quiet moments before battle.

Viggo brushed his palms over Sean’s broad shoulders, smoothing nonexistent wrinkles from the flight suit.
“Ready?” he asked.
Sean nodded. “Let’s go.”
At the docking bay, teeming with personnel and maintenance bots, they paused before Sean’s sleek, snub nosed Blackstar, its pulse cannons crouched lethally in their housings.
Viggo searched for something to say, but everything had already been said.
Finally, “You watch your ass.”
Sean grinned. “Aye, Captain.”
Moments later Sean was leading his squadron into the swarming chaos of five thousand massed Allied ships. Viggo watched him go, then activated his comm, ordering his crew to battle stations.
