ANGELS status update

Just a quick pop-in! This past week has been fairly stressful, so much so that even my gorgeous, delectable boys haven't even been able to tempt me to do any writing, but slowly things are sorting out. The next chapter is about half written, and maybe sooooomeday we'll actually get Jody and Matt to their actual date, and right now I've a couple somewhat petulant boys on my hands. Lol. Certain characters are demanding entrance into Angels that were supposed to wait until the next installment, so there's a few unresolved items darting around that may change my mind on a couple things ...or maybe not. I'll just let it take it's course as it will.

Either way, I'm hoping to post this weekend, but that's no guarantee!

Also, can't remember if I'd dropped this anywhere, but the next installment will (probably-maybe-likely) be titled: Coming Home Cold.

I'm quite well. Though I have a problem with demanding characters. My HMR fic was almost done, then suddenly the rest of the gang demanded screentime, some needling rights and other stuff. And I gave myself another plot bunny.

Aren't those demanding little devils characters fun! :D I'm happy to hear you're progressing along with your HMR fic! And beware the plot bunny! Use it responsibility! LOL!

Just joking, I always treat my bunnies well. Problem is, that attracts others.

Jim would probably disagree about me being good with the bunnies. :-D He's about to find out how quickly and for what price one of his friends will sell him out. :-D.

Aw, poor, sweet Jim! It sounds like he might be in a bit of a pickle! And yes, those bunnies seem to multiply exponentially, :D

Funny as it is, one plot bunny was delivered to me by Russell Todd himself. I was watching a recent interview with him and heard his dog barking in the background. Which immediately brought me back to "why don't the rangers have a trained SAR dog?" Well....

I love when that happens and you get inspiration right from your muse/character. Matt's dorky little crooked smile comes from many of the pics I found of Christian Conrad, he seemed to always have a funny little smile.

And isn't it great when they bring these things on themselves! :D

Thanks for the update! I’ve been on work travel all over the darn place and had lots of weekend events, so I fell ya on busy! Eagerly anticipating the next development here, but meantime, hope you get to take a breath soon!

Thanks! Yeah, it wasn't so much that I've been busier than usual, just life yanking my chain. I'm eagerly awaiting the next development as well! ;) Hope things slow down for you!

You said life has been stressful, hope all is well. I’ve had a lot of lessons from the universe lately, myself, but I am feeling good about the learnings I’ve picked up along the way. Hope the stress eases up for you soon!

Thanks for the check in! Isn't it lovely, those life lessons? Bah! Humbug! It's particularly difficult around here as the holidays get closer. I've had a lot of losses over the past few years, so holidays aren't what they used to be, but I'm still thankful for a lot. Hoping to get back around to these boys again soon! They're not too happy with me right now, :D
