One more drabble,

because the Elf always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

The red, dimming sun hovered at the edge of the world, her light melting away into purple twilight. Legolas welcomed the cool quiet of nighttime, as another day had come and gone without any of the fellowship coming to harm. He stood unmoving, watchful, and awaited the coming moon.

They did not see him as they passed, as Aragorn led Boromir into the wood, but Legolas sighted the smile on Aragorn’s lips. It was a smile of night, soft, mysterious, full of promise.

The men passed into the shadows, Legolas awaited the moonrise, and smiled at the dusk dark sky.

*happy sigh* I'm so in love with your drabbles. ♥

Ooh, beautiful. That ties back so perfectly with Boromir's 'brilliant smile' at dawn! They're really made for each other, complementing each other so well...

Argh, lucky Elf, getting to see them! ;)

*hugs you*

I just have to agree with Cinzia and would like to add that I absolutely agree with your association of Boromir with the sun and Aragorn with the moon. Love this drabble!

I find it suspicious that Legolas always seems to sit on the right spot to see them. You can't tell me that's a coincidence. *g*
