Title: Soft Illusion

Summary: snow, Viggo, Sean.



Snow fell in thick veils blotting out the mountains, the sky itself. The lands were colorless, a soft blank canvas of swirling snow.

Viggo held his camera, watched Sean and enjoyed the illusion of softness, fluffy snowflakes dusting Sean’s windswept hair, faint spots of red in his cheeks, a gentle smile curving his lips.

Viggo pointed the camera at Sean, snapped off a dozen pictures then abruptly lowered the instrument, pulled Sean close, licked a snowflake from the tip of his nose.

“Let’s go inside.”

The illusion vanished, melted by Sean’s grin that was hard, hungry and filled with heat.

This is terrific -- the imagery is lovely, but what I really like is that it all reads very gently and smoothly, too. Like a light touch, until the last line. :-) Great drabble!
