Personally, the mere thought of Aragorn/Boromir makes me shudder, but I really love the way how you write about the topic. As for Arwen - once you get know her a little better (I mean the book-version of her), you will like her. It's not easy to bring her to life - there is too little about her, even in the Appendices - but she can be an intriguing character. If you are willing to invest the time into understanding her.
