I take that as a high compliment! I do try to remember to 'show' don't tell, but I'm not always successful, so it's totally encouraging to know that I'm doing something right if something feels evocative or real to you, the reader! :) When I'm writing I try to imagine how I would phrase something, or how I would do something in the real world. Sometimes when you're writing to make a scene or action fit what you need to happen, and you realize there's no way that's how someone in real life would do it.

I love hearing these tidbits about Christian, etc. It really informs my writing, and helps to add to my imagination!
