The night wheels away and in the east the Sun strikes golden upon the world. I heed it not, having no use for the sun. You are my sun. The sound of your breath, my song, the warmth of your hand held in mine, my succor, the sight of you, my drink, and I need no other.

Throughout the deep night I held to you, my light, my beacon fire, drawing me ever near. You burn and so you guide me, now and always. Burn for me now, my light, and open your eyes.

Burn for me.

Blind my fear.

I particularly like the impact of the last two lines against the flow of the first two paragraphs - very emotional. Thank you very much.

Wow! You make these seem so effortless! Very skilful writing.

Those last two lines certainly pack a punch!

Beautiful. Not only is it gorgeous language-wise, but in that very last line, Aragorn's fear is absolutely palpable. I actually felt scared for him. ♥

You use the words so very beautifully - almost like poetry while being thoughts.

It feels so mellow, almost as if we're sharing in the golden world with them . . .

This is so very powerful.

Once again the last two lines contain what could be read as a plea or a command, but this time there is more of a sense of how much Aragorn needs him to return - and how much the night watch has taken out of him.

The night wheels away...the Light is victorious...and Love.
