Thank you very much! I'm always happy to hear that this felt realistic. These two have come through a lot, and they've got a bit more to go if they really want to be together. I kind of liked leaving them on the cusp of that, but I'm certain they'll make it. I do enjoy imagery and atmosphere in fic, but sometimes I think I go overboard ;P . I'm so glad you enjoyed this!
