Arguments between them weren’t uncommon, sharp words and flashes of temper were all part of who they were, what they were when they were together. But then came the day when Aragorn, caught in a moment of fear and doubt of his own, lashed out with rare harshness. And suddenly, the argument was done for the hurt that darkened Boromir’s eyes was all consuming, and for the first time since becoming lovers, Boromir pulled away when Aragorn reached out.


“Boromir, forgive me...” and Aragorn’s words faded away, unused, for though he hadn’t meant to wound, Boromir bled all the same.

*winces* Excellent punch there, my lady! This hurts really badly. Wonder what Aragorn said... :)

Oh, thanks! I was in a real angsty state of mind and unfortunatley Boromir got the hurt. I'm not a completely sure what Aragorn said...though I suspect for it to be so hurtful it was something either about Boromir's city, his family or about Arwen....
