Sergeants are supposed to keep a good eye on their officers, and I’m a fine bastard of a Sergeant, and so I watch mine like a hawk, though he hardly notices it.

He’s a rare one, my Captain, always running around trying to get himself killed, always full of piss and recklessness, unsatisfied until he’s riled up over some fool woman. The man needs someone to shake some sense into him. Desperately needs someone to lay hands on him and… oh, but if I tried that, he’d murder me for sure.

Aye, I watch him, and he doesn’t even notice.

Thank you! I hope that there will be more Sharpe/Harper. I haven't watched the movies or read the books in a while, though that would be a good excuse to go find some inspiration for fic. It's really no hardship at all watching Sean in that green uniform, ;)
