Bean Squee!, and to a lesser extent, War of the Worlds squee (no spoilers)

Oh, just saw Beany in 'The Island' trailer! He looks (and sounds) good enough to eat. *Squee!* For the record you can also glimpse him in the trailer attached to the War of the Worlds movie, though only for a split second. I'll never understand why they don't market him more, mabye afraid he'll outshine the leading man. *g*


BTW, the War of the World rocks, completely. Admittedly, I like...well I like to see things blow up, I like special effects and pretty shiny things and 'splosions, so if the art direction is good and the effects are good, with at least a bit of story, I'm happy. Tom Cruise did a good job here I thought, as well as the kids who played, well, his kids. This is the first movie since FOTR that I just sat and stared at the screen in amazement. The effects were top notch, and with some genuine emotion from the players, I really enjoyed it. ;)
